Kick off time 15:00 (GMT).

It'd be nice if the new year could be a fresh starting point for us. Still think we have a lot to work on after that Leicester win though.

It is a chance to put back-to-back wins together which would be nice after the recent run.

Ortega
Walker, Akanji, Ake, Lewis
Kovacic
McAtee, Foden, Grealish, Savinho
Haaland

Give Gvardiol, De Bruyne, and Bernardo a rest. Don't see us winning this because we need signings to solve the problems we have, and West Ham will do us on the counter with Bowen at least once, but if we can keep this unbeaten run going then we can start to rebuild the season.

almost a week off ,no reat needed ,you can give them some rest against Salford. Really need to put in a winning run of some kind.

Watching them now and I’ve a feeling Liverpool will batter them.

3-0 City on Saturday.

……………Ortega………………
Lewis Akanji Ake Gvardiol
……………Kovacic………………
Savinho KDB Silva Doku
………….Haaland……………..

3-0 city

Looking at how utterly shite they've been this evening I'll go for a win.
That said we'll continue to be pretty pedestrian and struggle with our press as we simply don't have the personnel for it until we get a couple of signings over the line in January.
Mcatee has to be shoehorned in surely??

Hoping to see a couple faces back.

If so I’d go Ortega; Walker Stones Akanji Ake; Kovacic Bernardo Mcatee; Savio Haaland Doku

If McAtee didn't earn a start after today's short cameo (his self pass down the line was the initial move that resulted in the second goal) I'm not sure how he's not already planned to be shipped out or doesn't ask for a move.
