The thing I don’t like about the last day is when the other team (in this case Arsenal) score first and the table comes up with Arsenal at the top.

Just once I’d like a 4-0 at half time like we did when we beat United 6-3.

I have a feeling there will be less drama this time. West Ham are one of only a small number of clubs that cannot change their league position whatever happens so they can’t even get, or lose, any prize money or player related position bonuses.

But at the same time there's no pressure on them whatsoever. With literally nothing to lose except the match itself they will be relaxed. Too relaxed hopefully.

As a FOC I like to think it’s wisdom that cushions me into accepting there will come a time when we get trophyless.
