Brilliant! I remember the '81 final, we were in Wales on holiday and I had a ticket for Wembley and was going to get the train from there on the day, but I ended up in hospital with a severe asthma attack 3 days prior. I spent most of the time kicking up a huge fuss because there was no TV in the wards back then and was confined to bed. Got my wish in the end thanks to a lovely nurse who went to a lot of trouble to get TV rigged up on the day.

I said Spurs would turn into prime Brazil against us and after their other matches they fucking did, I think Pep will remind the players of the Villa game, although they should remember themselves. It just goes to slow no matter how good or professional these guys are they get nervous like we all do, they’ve admitted Spurs and the CL final they were as well. That's what I keep saying in the post match thread after our own fans slag us if whenever we have a bad result, and not always even after a bad performance. They're human, anybody can make a mistake, most of the time it's just fate, the bounce of the ball, unlucky deflection, a slip on greasy turf or studs getting stuck in it etc. but a certain group analyse everything like it's a game of chess and we should be able to anticipate every single movement, every bounce of the ball. It's not humanly possible to do so.

I've been nervous all week! Had a bloody migraine for the past 2 days but luckily has eased off a bit today. Won't be going to the pub though.
 
It's just hit me. Like reaching the top of a rollercoaster and they heading down, felt my stomach somersault.

Bloody hell. Should be straight forward. But every moment today we're not winning is going to be stressful. Apparently that includes 10am too now. Not been that fussed either up until now, it's like someone has just flicked a switch and here we go...final day nerves.

Same team for me with obviously Ortega in. In our own hands, what more can you ask for. Need a noisy stadium to fire the lads to victory. Come on blues!

I'm freeeeeeee, they've let me out of hospital ...... could be because I threatened to cry all weekend if I wasn't at the game. :-) :-)

Also I've got a new car. This was the wrong week to go into hospital. I had the car picked out, deposit paid ready to pick up on Wednesday. So my daughter took me this afternoon to pick it up and she drove it back. They took my old one, I'd had it for nearly 13 yrs, in part exchange so it worked out quite well.

But the main thing is I'm free for the game on Sunday. Our NHS is great. :-)
