He was good but it was a nice easy game to ref. No bad challenges and from 3-0 it was a training game for us! A very enjoyable one.

That is a first time in a while that we kept Carroll quiet. Another rare occasions is that there was No controversial decisions from the ref either or the three other officials either.

How fecking thick is shearer ? when asked how many players we need to buy shearer pipes up 3...a keeper and another striker if Aguero gets injured

Zabba covering stuff was key to me.

Some of us suggested it for last season but apparently he can't play there.

And his forward runs were great.

Not a fan of him in a midfield 2, that role tonight suited him very well though, basically a wing back with license to come inside.
