West Ham V Wolves

Went to the BBC hammers board to see if they were in melt down after such a disastrous result.

And what do I find but some scandalous comments about our former manager.

@ Alex, you couldnt get a more tactically brain dead coach than Mark Hughes.

and

Hope Zola gets a longer leash. But if he is sached, I hope WH get a coach with fresh ideas from outside the PL (could be the championship) rather than recycle the same tactically inept have-beens like Hughes, Brown, etc.

Should we start legal proceedings?

I do Moomba. Just wanted to highlight the fact that fans outside of Bluemoon don't hold Hughes in such high regard.

However I'll be gracious and say that I reckon Hughes could do a job at Upton Park.

I actually predicted West Ham to go down just before Christmas, and judging from last night's inept performance I see no reason to change my view.

It's a shame because not only do I like West Ham, but I have two brothers who are ardent Hammers fans. But they too fear the worst this season.

They certainly do not rate either Robert Green or Mathew Upson, and the arrival of the porn barons has seriously divided the fans.

I think the owners have the eyes on the Olympic Stadium and the sale of Upton park. I assume that would be profitable for them

But football wise I think West Ham will be safe. I like Zola. they played badly yesterday, but Burnley and Portsmouth look like they are in a worse situation. Hull have the potential to win games at home, but I think West ham will be safe by the end of the season. They were very poor against Wolves, but they have some good players and if they get a break they are capable of playing very well.

It's all about handling the pressure at this time of the season

I have had this horrible feeling for months that we will relegate West Ham on the last day. I hope I am wrong, as I like WHU as a club.

However, I think their best hope now is that Burnley and Hull are even more shit than they are.
