Do you think it’s going to be news to anyone that the young are more left wing and the old more right wing?

Many of those youngsters who are more left wing now, in the 18-24 year old bracket, will be conservatives in 20 years.

The majority of people I know my age are no longer the same revolutionary socialists they were when they were 18/19.

No, my hope is the conservatives start acting like conservatives and place more emphasis on the family unit, communities, policing and improving our wretched education system.

The first post of this thread nealry 2.5 years ago and nothing has really changed polling wise. Both the top two dancing around 40%

Obvioisly the kippers and farage party have dissapeared and the greens have taken over the libs in some polls.

Probably, yes, though corbyn was a tosser, you knew what he stood for, even if you disagreed with it, same with milliband before him.

Apparently Kier is giving us a policy blitz this weekend, but knowing the daft fucker he will launch it in through an interview in the daily mail

I suspect we'll be back to some form of hung parliament of narrow majority after the next GE. After a year of the tories virtually committing wholesale slaughter through incompetence the best Starmer can manage is a draw. The biggest change maybe in Scotland - whether the SNP continue to go from strength to strength or implode giving labour back their traditional vote north of the border.

Corbyn on Brexit was woeful. Every man and his dog knew he wanted to leave, he was just too scared to come out and say it.

It is quite possibly the lowest point in my lifetime.

We have a Government that is fucking useless.
We have an Opposition that is fucking useless
The Lib Dems have disappeared because they are fucking useless

The nation is being run from Tufton Street, where the RW think tanks backed by Billionaire financiers dictate what happens in the nation whilst the grubby cunts in charge hand out the nations wealth to their mates in exchange for party donations.

The country is like a Central American Banana Republic, all it needs is that fucking fruitcake Johnson to start appearing on TV in military uniform festooned with hundreds of medals and the job is done.

The nation is fucked, thousands dead, the Union failing, the economy on its arse, unemployment soaring, influence waning, nationalism increasing, in fact we are approaching the perfect conditions that are ripe for a military coup and the installation of Rees Mogg who will be sporting a small tache and wearing funny baggy pants and leather jackboots.

Knock the fucking country down and start again from scratch. It couldnt be any worse than it is now surely.
