I have found, even here in the states, the emphasis in the girls game is much more toward team play, whilst there is far too much emphasis on developing the “next phenom” in the boy’s game, which make the games hard to watch, at times, as the “superstar” on one team attempts to dribble through the entire opposition, loses it, it gets passed to the “superstar” on the other team, and he does the same, ad infinitum.I have a niece that plays u11 and my lad plays u10……gotta say the girls game is much better to watch, some really great team play.
I hope this results in a lot of interest and funding for the game.
