Not sure what any if that has to do with tonight, apart from the rest - could be a factor, possibly, but England did play extra time in their game.
 
Perhaps this is the night when Sweden come up against a strong referee who hasn’t left her cards in the changing room. Last 2 matches the Swedes were way over the top with their late potentially career ending tackles. The worst tackle in the entire tournament was committed by Sweden against Portugal (yellow card only!!!). In the QF against Belgium Asllani should have had 2 yellow cards (another dangerously late tackle and ridiculous petulance).
Swedish ‘pressing’ is mainly fouling the opposition. Worry for Hemp, Mead, Kelly and Walsh in this match.
Hope England get to the final unscathed…..
 
Can’t believe that England team selection!! Full backs both defensively poor so expect plenty of crosses into the England penalty area = another busy night for Millie Bright. Earps will be tested.

Think that a lot will depend on the England bench tonight. Sweden must be delighted with that England team.
The usual suspects will all be hooked - Daly, Kirby and White - and it will be up to Greenwood, Toone, Russo and possibly Kelly to try to secure victory.

She's being loyal. Wasnt expecting many changes, but thought Greenwood would start ahead of Daly. Daly really cant defend.
 
Looking forward to this. Yes the hype is ott, but I’ll deffo be watching from 7.59pm onwards.

For some reason I find it much easier to get behind our national woman’s footy team than the men’s. Probably because the atmosphere in the stands and amongst the supporters is a million times better.
