We've got enough....

It's quite likely at some point that both Jesus and Aguero will be out at the same time, suspension, injury etc, so who is the emergency striker? And who would be the emergency sub striker?

Sterling. Also pretty rare you find top clubs with 4 strikers these days.

We didn't score enough goals last season and we've sold two of our forwards in Nolito and Iheanacho. Not to mention we now need VK to stay fit all season and have only three full backs. Another poor transfer window.

There can be no doubt about it. This squad has been hugely strengthened in the key areas of full back.

No excuses this season. A title or at the very least being in the mix up to and including the last day of the season is the bare minimum to be expected.

A repeat of last year and the manager has to be looking over his shoulder.

If injuries prove a difficulty that is on the manager who has the ultimate decision on who to sign and who to sell/release so that would not be an excuse.

We have enough. More than enough.

Window started well but we came up short. Most of the deadwood gone but we are terribly understrength in key areas.

We have singed some quality players that is not in question however we are fundamentally STILL short in key areas. Goal scoring has and continues to be the problem. We have failed to address that area. There simply no chance we manage to keep aguero and Jesus fit all season and firing how they should be. Pep is all about rotation. We are one injury away from being unable to rotate.

I'm expecting a similar season to last.

LB, CB and forward short unfortunately. But it is what it is, just lets hope we don't get injury crisis.
