There was a report over here that tattoo ink can be carcinogenic. Apparently a lot of ink comes from China and there are ingredients that over time and with exposure to sun and bacteria can cause cancer. Other ingredients in the ink are unknown.

Some anti-vaxxers have tattoos, which doesn't make any sense to me.

I’m in this School having been in the RN at 16 and seen the state of the faded Tattoos on the older Bods (when nobody else had them pretty much -really!) it put me off totally.
These days it’s an obvious extension to having Designer Labels etc it seems to me -an endless quest to prove how original you are when in reality you are an absolute original by your very being.

I was on a Cruise about 10 years ago and a Comedian said “when I was a lad you had to pay 2 shillings to see the tattooed lady at the fair, now you just walk round your local high street and there’s 100’s of the fat fuckers”!
