to be fair the appointment of Laws has got to be one of the worst in prem history....it was like accepting defeat and preparing for life in the championship, total lack of ambition by Burnley's board.

2bh it's a case of a player having nothing to lose and trying to get the manager out so he doesn't get sold.

This doesn't help Joey much, he had a promising opportunity at Villa but he's not really gone anywhere yet, championship level player in all honesty nowadays.

Talk about rallying together as a team and getting behind your manager when you've only a handfull of games left to save your premiership status!!...Blinding effort. I know that the appointment of Laws was a bad one in hindsight but fuck me, theres nowt that any manager could do now to change things for burnley at this stage of the season so he should just shut up and see it through!

At the start of the season i was rooting for burnley because the way they were written off reminded me of how the mighty potters were considered doomed in our first season in the prem. However, we had the fight and the passion which has proved to be the difference so it looks like we won't be seeing burnley knocking about up here for very much longer.

After the Blackburn match a large minority of season ticket holders did not turn up for City.
