I'd have thought Everton would be the obvious one given he supported them as a kid, you'd think the likes of them, Villa, Spurs etc might be interested. By the time they realise no fucker actually wants to play for them, maybe City too

This one killed me, the irony is outstanding.

Apart from anything else, none of those teams showed any interest, indeed I think the list of interested clubs was Stoke, Hull and the rags, hardly a major coup.
