What a goal

It's great that this goal is being highlighted because it looked stunning from the south stand on Wednesday. An absolutely fantastic team goal that was simply breathtaking from my view of it. For a change we were not having to chase the game so I liked the way we 'encouraged' the opposition to come on to us to increase the space and we upped the ante and passed through them quickly and decisively.

Other times we used this tactic we went long and direct which was also good to see.

Fabulous pair of clips . Thank you. Love it that Haarland strikes the ball just when Nelson Riddle kicks in with the big band . All starts with Akanji playing mind games at the back .
The first touch and turn by Lewis were absolutely brilliant. Fantastic goal.

I think it is the way forward in bringing the other team to us and then open them up at the halfway line or putting Haaland in over the top, Haaland running at defenders scares the living daylight out of them. Plus he can hit the ball and score from 30 yards.
It makes sense, but PL teams would not bite so easily. They'd happily wait it out

We have to have a plan B and C because it's getting harder to unlock defences that are sitting in a low block and defending in their box, We also should be looking for the quick one-two or the false runner taking the defender away

I have noticed teams are happy to let us have the ball out wide with the wingers because it would take a great cross every time or the wingers have to beat 2 or 3 players and get lucky finding a city player. In a way, it's a trap teams set and we sort of fall into it. Also, Haaland should be used to hold the ball more and bounce the ball off him and let somebody shoot
