Here's an old picture of training in Wythenshawe Park, can you imagine todays players training there then running back to Maine Road on occasions, no I cant either. Anyway can you name them as they run behind Big Malc.

The guy to the right was Derek Ibbotson, a British middle distance runner that Malcolm brought in to help with running fitness.

Got to say, another thing that’s missing in modern football is really iconic photos. You just don’t seem to get them anymore. Love the old ones with players stood around doing the catalogue poses.
