.... im embarrassed he ever had anything to do with our club. He thinks he can just walk away from his contract '' no problem '' and do what he pleases, surely he can be sued for breach of contract for all his comments about our club.

'I will return to Brazil after the World Cup and, God willing, I'll stay to play in the Copa Libertadores (in 2011),' he said after the 3-1 win against Gremio.
'This is my will. It's a title that I haven't won. I want so much to play in one more Libertadores, if we qualify.
'If I have to make a request for them (City) to release me, I ask, no problem

Should leave him to rot in the reserves or send him to Russia to enjoy the snow and plastic pitches, what an absolute 'cnut', cant believe i bought my nephew a Robinho shirt he doesnt understand why Rob wont play for us.

I reckon we should waive the fee , and pay a bonus to Santos if they'll keep him there .......

he's doesn't work hard enough , or is consistent enough , to play in the Premiership ....... a 'luxury' we can best do without

what the fuck we ever saw in him i'll never know .... what a lucky escape Chelsea had!

It amazes me that people still think there is a way back for him when he comes out with stuff every few weeks. All he had to do was go there, enjoy his football and keep his mouth shut and he would have left his options open. The comments are clearly designed to burn his brdges and force his way out of the club. Absolute disgrace imo.

Time for the club to come down on the little div like a ton of bricks. See how he likes his new salary...

100% agree the club have to come down hard and make a new ''signal of intent''

I'm honestly not sure he's been so intelligent about it. I simply think that he's gone to Brazil, seems to have persuaded himself that Brazilian football is the pinnacle of the world game, and simply can't keep his mouth shut whenever a journalist wants to interview him - he just gets a sparkle in his eye at the publicity and forgets that his words will ever get back to Europe, so he talks about how much he loves Brazil and how he never wants to leave, because he believes it. I don't think he's bridge-burning because I think in his head he honestly believes that if he shows City how much he enjoys playing for Santos then they will magically wave his fee and allow him to stay. I don't think he has the nouse to actually understand that his words may be looked down upon by other fans back in England.

Personally, I hope that he enjoys his time in Brazil. Then I hope that in a couple of years he starts thinking about how much he actually wants the publicity of the Champions League, and finds out that no-one is willing to take on a near-30 year old Brazilian with insubstantial experience in the European leagues and with a proven history of whining for attention. Then I hope that another 10 years down the line, football has entirely forgotten him and he realises what a golden opportunity he missed.

This is what its like having a player with a world class ego, we all knew this would happen sooner or later.

He most certainly wont be the last either.
