What a price hike!

From £500.00 to £630.00 is a big frigging steep but I wouldn't want to miss a single second of next season as it will be even better than the last. I think this is a sign of things to come personally which isn't great news for us financially but great news for the club we love because it means success is coming our way!

How much has everybody elses gone up?

I tried to find the renewal thread but I couldn't track it down so apolagies for beginning a new one. If you renewed online or by phone, do you still receive a renewal pack even if you done it beforehand?

Seems excessive, did you steal a football or something ?

Gone gold to platinum? Does appear steep!

I blame Platini and the old bullshit FFP crap for this but i am not happy with the price hikes, even though at the moment i can afford them.Where does it stop?We do not want to ever become like the dark side down the road!

I think we will always be less than them - but that gives City a fair amount of leeway I think (not sure on rags prices).

At the end of the day people are now paying to watch the english champions with a CL quality squad. City can't go on forever being one of the cheapest in the division with FFPR coming along.

The best hope for reasonable prices is a stadium expansion with more "premium" pricing and a big expansion in corporate areas, hopefully they'll make any expansion 50/50 with high and average pricing to get more local fans in as well as "away-day trippers" in the expensive seats.

Given the current financial situation the % rise in price is the important figure, and since hardly anyone is getting wage increases at the moment, its hard on fans to be asked to pay another 5-10% rise in season ticket prices, especially when in the grand scheme of things the increase in revenue for City from this area is small.

Disappointed here, but very very unsurprised.

I see your point but on the whole I think the prices are reasonable enough. I could have renewed at £20 less than I paid last season by dropping from Platinum to Gold, I chose to stick with Platinum which made it £30 more but that's my choice and at least I had the choice, I suspect at a lot of clubs that wouldn't be the case.

I'm in CB LV1 125 and it's gone up around £50. I could downgrade to Gold and it would be the same price as last but I don't want to fall behind with my points. I don't mind paying it at all after the season we have just seen.

Considering the season I think last season might well have been underpriced.

I paid for the £50 top up last season for the online prog and mag on top of the ST price. Had they told me that I could top up another £100 and Aguero would score the title winning goal with a dozen seconds of the season to go, while MANUre had finished at the SoL and were on tenterhooks to see whether we would get a winner, I'd have coughed up the asking price. Same this coming season - another slice is gonna be money well spent and still, in PL terms, bloody good value!
