Spent millions, the team not playing together, nobody knows each other, players coming in and going out, everyone is against us, yet we only draw 0-0 against Mallorca. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!! ;)

Now let's talk about us........To be honest 've not read the forum today , probably because i knew what the general feeling would be like. After Spurs we we're out of it, after the dippers, we were winning the league, and now???

4 points after 3 games (2 away) isn't too bad really, yes Carlos should've slotted that home today but of the other hand spuds should've slotted at least one against us on the first day of the season.

Does anybody really tho look at the league table until after the first 8 or 10 games? I know I don't?

I'm going bed now and will reply in the morning. night all :)
 
yeah i agree

some pepole were calling for Mancinis head last night, i mean, we lost away to Sunderland, which was always going to be hard, we should have won, but we didnt, it wasnt our night.
spurs lost at home to wigan.

Good morning speccy bob.

Ha!! what does it matter, we will win the Europa and come fourth. All will be wonderful come the end of the season.
 
comparing last seasons results against our first three games this, we have improved by two points, 2 draws and a defeat last season against Spurs A, Liverpool H and Sunderland A, a win, draw and defeat this season against the same opponents. It really is too early to start getting worried.
 
We are 2pts up on last season after 3 games, if we can carry on getting an extra 2pts every 3 games we will be 12pts up on last season which would of put us in 3rd place with 79pts.

I think this season well we are still gelling 3rd is the best we can hope for and would be very happy with that too.
 
It's early, don't stress.

Look at the league.

Birmingham, Bolton, Wolves & Newcastle in the top 8. More chance of them being in the bottom 8.

If you're still mid table at Xmas, then it's time to stress or spend.
 
I just think it was a bit of a coming back down to earth after the energetic display against Liverpool when our passing and movement was far superior than today.

i was at both games and the two performances we're totally different,it just never got going for us today and we just have to draw a line under it and come back stronger next time out.it's what good sides usually do.
 
What was most compelling about tonights match was that in the las 30 minutes Bob realised that he wanted to win it. He stuck on Ade, Jo and Silva to try and win it and unfortunately it didn't come off, almost though.

We have to be much more cavalier if we want to get the points total that is going to get us third this season. 80 points minimum I reckon with a rejuvinanted Arsenal and the decrepid yet dogged Rags.

I would rather win 8 and lose 2 than win 6 and draw 4.

Good sides usually win even when they play bad.
