What age would you let your son have a couple of drinks at his mate’s sleepover?

Don't have kids myself, but I know with my folks they tolerated stuff when I was 16. In fact when I started to go to parties at that time they would buy me the booze, enough to have a good time, but not enough to get wasted on. I guess it was a sign of trust in me from them. If I had kids, I'd probably do the same as I turned out alright.

Pics of the Mrs? - Seriously, another thing worth considering of that once they get to teenage years and have a little independence they will not only be doing what you think is ok, but also what his mates parents think is ok.

I was pretty lenient with mine with beer but absolutely no whisky till he was 7 especially without a mixer.

He slept like a baby from 8 onwards when straight doubles were okay, glad I could give him back to his mother next day though.
