Found this elsewhere... daft rag twat, seems to think the way Scholes tackles is alright.

"De-Jong is too dangerous for this country"

"I watched the Poznan match. Those two tackles by De Jong, even though they were legal, could well have broken legs if slightly mis-timed. He launched himself at top speed, feet first from a long way out. Players will naturally be uneasy playing against him - good! you may well say. I think you can win things without a liability like De Jong, you should get rid of him before he damages any more professionals and seriously damages your clubs reputation."

I should think that MANUre have finished more players' careers than most. The Ginger Pig has always been blessed with favourable treatment. He would have had a career punctuated by constant sendings-off had the laws of the game been applied to him equally as to others. The pathetic trotted out excuse that he can't tackle needs to be translated into the blatantly obvious - can't tackle, must foul!

WARNING: Very dangerous Scholes tackle - not for the faint hearted:

George Best on Glyn Pardoe
Martin Buchan on Colin Bell
Roy Keane on Alf Inge Haaland

3 careers effectively finished - no further comment needed!

what annoys me is all the tv commentators laughing when Scholes gets booked for another late challenge and remarking about how he still hasn't mastered tackling..He's been shite for last 5 years or more and just cos he runs the game against Wolves or some shitty euro team the media cream themselves...

Oh the irony.Apparently it was a scholes tackle in training thats put their Golden boy Rooney out for three weeks with his weak ankle getting another hit.

I said he's been shite for LAST 5 years...When has he changed or run the game against one of the big boys?? I agree he has been class and still shows touches now & again albeit against the clubs close to the bottom and usually only at Old Trafford. It just pisses me off that the media and authorities seem to turn a blind eye to his tackles and then bury players like NDJ..
