There have been Apache helicopters on training exercises today around GM too. Flew right over my house around 7.30pm.

I noticed this on Flight Radar this afternoon. Two Euro jets and two helicopters just off the north east coast circling for hours. Probably just training.
There was an annoying propeller plane circling Manchester all day too.
