A glass of chilled white burgundy just now. I am trying hard to have at least three alcohol free days per week. Not always succeeding. I do find I am enjoying gin a great deal more than previously. Probably worth it’s own thread but what gin is recommended. So far have tried Edinburgh Gin, Bombay S, Tanquery, Monkey 47, Caourunn and a local Eskbank Gin. Of those my favourites are Eskbank and Monkey.

4× O'Haras IPA at a sociable 5.2%.
2x McGargles IPA at a little less sociable 7.5%.

Anything goes after those 7.5% bottles. I checked my Whatsapp the morning after and I sent a Marvin and Diana song to a mate I haven't seen in 5 years.

I’ve been off work for six weeks so far and not had one alcoholic drink! Normally uses to be maybe 8-12 drinks a week but strangely enough not really missed it? I never went to the pub for the drink anyway, just to meet mates on a Saturday tea time and a couple of tea times in the week.
