The Bishops finger tonight and the only brew that makes me well up with emotion. Except of course Shep Neames 1698 conditioned ale where only local hops malted barley glucose syrup and water drawn from artesian wells are used to brew this Kentish Ale. Hops are added three times, hence it is thrice hopped and anything that has the audacity to be thriced hopped will do for me. I also get very emotional with King Goblin and also lots of other bottled ales too numerous to mention all brimming with honest to goodness.

O'Hara's IPA. It's not bad. I used to drink an imitation Guinness by O'Hara's when I still lived at home, you could find it in Altrincham. You could drown in IPA in Ireland if you were so inclined - a lot of variety and a lot of strength to it. I prefer to steer away from the harsh Donegal farmhouse ales and lean more towards the Kildare brand (McGargles) - i'm in it for the strength as opposed to any forced, wanky hipster craftsmanship.
