I always have a good ale. This year I shall be having some Titanic Plum Porter. It complments the festive bird.

And please don't say "That should go down well". I've heard the Titanic jokes.

As no one else in our house wants to drink red with their turkey (:shrugs) I'll have a nice bottle of Amarone all to myself and then I'll hit the Vin Santo and Cantucci. Happy days.

Schloer grape juice (non-alcoholic.) I am saving my alcohol ration for the cheeseboard I shall have at some point, for which I have bought a moderately decent port. I shall have a glass of one of my single malts at some point during the holiday, but my serious drinking days are over.

I'm hoping the place we're eating at have a decent bottle, but it's a "chain" pub, so I'm not that hopeful.
