John Vanderslice - D.I.A.L.O. Just saw him at Austin City Limits Festival. He's coming to Manchester on Nov 7 (Night & Day). His band is really great - reminds me of bands from the 70s like Steely Dan who put together really tight musicians and lyrics that were wonderfully ambiguous.
