A friend of mine committed suicide somewhat over a year ago. She was 40-ish, with 2 lovely young children

She was extremely intelligent - perhaps the smartest person I've known - extremely popular... and upbeat and funny every time I was around her.

I can only surmise that the confluence of Trump, COVID and undisclosed personal issues became too much for her to bear.

If only I had know how desperate she felt... RIP my friend - I will always remember you.
