My books, in the first couple of years of high school, were all covered with AC/DC, Led Zep, Sabbath.....rock bands had the best designs! I had a mate whose books were covered in things like Gang of Four, Cabaret Voltaire and Joy Division...he was way ahead of anybody in our year.

Gang of Four bit of an oddity for me.i rushed out to buy ' To hell with Poverty" 12' when it came out...belting track.but never really took to any other release by them.listened to an early Peel session of theirs recently and was again underwhelmed...strange.

The Cabs are one of my favourite bands of all time,and Joy Division.....I've got Unkown Pleasures CD in the car right now.Quality.

Fav track prob Shadow Play with isolation and A New Dawn fades right up there too.
What a band.
