Jeff Lynne's ELO - Alone In The World
Jury still out, sadly apart from Lynne & his bessie mate Richard Tandy it just doesn't FEEL like the classic ELO without Bev Bevan, the string section of Mik Kaminski, Melvyn Gale and Hugh McDowell and, although Lynne can't be blamed for this one, the late Kelly Groucutt.
I fear he (Jeff Lynne) is kind of cashing in on the old Electric Light Orchestra name just to promote sales following the relative failure of his previous solo effort.
It's ok, but certainly no Out Of The Blue or New World Record .... maybe it'll grow on me! Time will tell.
