Pachelbel's interweaving of melody and harmony by San Franciscos Early Music Ensemble. The canon is played using not only the instruments but with the bowing techniques from the time of Pachebel. Interesting to see the large bass lute providing a complement to the organ not only in the texture of the chords but also the long strings which occasionally unless im mistaken sound the bass notes an octave lower ? For me the cello truly has it encapserlating the assemble with a tireless melancholy. Enjoy the moment and have a wonderful Sunday.

Always thought this was one of Dusty Springfield best songs. Her US period was her basically watching exotic zoo animals and drinking in depression. But she still did some great work that doesn't get the praise it deserves.
