Yesterday ,12th August . Was a sad,but ultimately Joyful day.
A great turn out for the service of Karl Marples.
A Blue, and a friend of mine.
It was at Brimmington Crematorium, Chesterfield,Derbyshire ,England.
A great turn out ,loads of Blue shirts...Sun was beating down , there were men there who didn't even like football or City,...wearing a City top.
For Karl. My mate.
Rest in Peace.
And thanks to Chesterfield Blues for a really great day
I am so sorry I'll never see your face again, and skake your hand

Cheers for posting
. Iv e still got the original 12" picture sleeve release .

And to this day ,never understood why "love lies bleeding" follows on from Funeral for a friend which ,imo, stands in its own right as a superb momento track.....all that fast paced guitar and shouty vocals from LLB spoils the instrumental opener..... guess immersing something here.

Just reminded me of my fav EJ track Someone saved my life tonight
along with Yellow brick road ,Daniel and Philadelphia Freedom.
Alli superb single releases.
