I hate the phrase "right now". It's basically an Americanism - listen to any Yank being interviewed on TV or radio and they say "right now" in every sentence, sometimes two or three times in the same sentence, even when it's meaningless
It should be banned and it offends me when I read the thread title..there plenty of alternative words and phrases.
