Lol. I know what you mean but The Skids were pretty tame. Some gigs I've seen went mental at the mere whiff of a barmaids apron. Exploited gigs especially. Were you old enough for the punk era? Sometimes wish I was a little older,not just for early punk gigs. Would have really liked to have seen Hendrix at IOW festival, but as a mere 6 year old I was too busy tapping my tiny feet to The Beatles and the like.

Compilation called Manchester North Of England A Story Of Independent Music In Greater Manchester 1977-1993 released by Cherry Red. There's some real good and bad but an interesting snapshot and some long forgotten bands including this one.
