What are you listening to.................RIGHT NOW!!!

A Genesis session: Good call

This is an amazing remastered track from Belgium TV .. talent personified.

Brilliant.

A very studious Tony Banks, never looked up ftom his keyboards once during the 9.36 mins!

Is that Ant phillips on guitar in the foreground?

From.. Old king cole was a merry old soul......to a rousing crescendo .

Noticed Collins minimal backing vocal input on this,if only he knew it would develop into a full lead vocal on Seconds Out,a cracking ,brave vocal i must say.

No mate this was 1972 and the lineup was banks, rutherford, collins gabriel and hacket.
The more I listen to gabriel the more attuned I become, you're right with that rousing end crescendo and the energy field from peter being beyond immense.

Not bad from phil who climbed aboard from a newspaper advert for drummer wanted .. right time right place.
I don't want to get into the heady realm of who was better gabriel or collins as they both contributed so much to the genre. Gabriel's voice was more suited to the progressive era but Collins ripped out some mighty fine performances.
