U2 All Along The Watchtower Live Save The Yuppies Free Concert Streets Of San Francisco, in 1987.

I first listened to U2 and Simple Minds when I was on a 6 month long commericial diving course run out of Glasgow.

All the pubs and bars their juke boxes were full of their stuff. I saw them our ground in early 2000's, they were good but Bono's political shit went on about 10 minutes and they could have played a couple of more songs ah well.

As a kid, this was shockingly heart opening to me! I, first, heard it sat in my Ma's living room and it was awesome, but it's biggest impact was when I had it on in my headphones on tape cassette ( look it up kids).

It, absolutely, blew my mind how it meshed with the sunny skies as you walked along the streets. I think it's timeless it what it presents, so today, when I listen to it still, I'm transported back decades.
