I saw them with my mate at the Heavy Metal Holocost at Port Vale FC in the summer of 1981, Motorhead headlined, after Black sabbath pulled out. The Blizzards of Oz with Randy Roads on guitar were second on the bill, I know Magogney Rush were on the bill and I think April Wine, Vardis and Triumph were to. Motorhead could be heard 13 miles away and apparently it's in the Guiness book of records as the loudest ever gig. They mention it in the Ace Of Spades classic album on Sky arts, what a day, and what a band. RIP Randy Rhodes who was a sensational guitar player, and also RIP to Lemmy, Philthy Animal, and Fast Eddie.
