Most days of the year, if asked, I’d say that’s my favourite song ever. Not that version mind, although it’s still wonderful.
The Usura Open Your Mind club track is a killer too.
Simple Minds keyboards were arguably their greatest strength, and I think when MacNeil left the band they lost something that they’ve only intermittently ever got back.
Their Theme for Great Cities was the inspiration for this …
