The Knopfler brothers had disagreements and Dave Knopfler also left the band and I saw something once where he was being interviewed which sort of went

interviewer - "and then after your stroke you left the band "
Dave Knopfler - " no I just left the band"
interviewer - " yeah after you had a stroke"
DK - " no I just left"
Interviewer - " but I understand you had a stroke"
DK - "my friend if I had a stroke do you not think I would know ,,,, ?"
