I remember seeing them supporting Queen at Elland Road in the early 80's - the other support acts were Heart and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - the Teardrop Explodes were just the wrong booking and got bombarded with bottles and cans and just walked off stage so we had fuck all to do but sit in the baking heat for over an hour until the next act came on lol

....Sturgeon makes me think of seventies panto for some reason...Don't recall her in panto though...Charlie Drake yes, and the bloke who had his five mins of fame around that time doing the Bold washing powder ads...But Wee Krankie? Nah, I don't recall her when transvestisism was at it's peak...You know?...the good old days?....Might keep my eye open for next panto season...She might reappear in "Aladdin Prison"...A modern take on rubbing a lamp or sumpfink....
