That track takes me back to Robs record store Nottm town centre
Where I used to get me 2nd hand 7" singles,mostly chart stuff.
This track was one of them.still got the disc in my collection.
Rob Smith,the owner, was one of this country's finest Northern Soul DJs
I didn't know this at the time..it was a great place to waste an hour searching for that elusive record.
The shop was basically an impossible mess....Records everywhere ..And I mean everywhere...but folk used to come in ask him for a partc record and he,d shuffle around and somehow find the rare disc from a stack of thousands.
