I went to school with Peter Salowka and Dave Gedge - Peter lived a couple of doors down from my aunt and uncle on Whalley Road. As I recall him telling me he went to Leeds Uni I think and Dave went to Manchester and they tried co-writing a sci-fi novel - one wrote on chapter then posted the manuscript to the other who did the next one - what did the internet ever do for us eh ha ha ha ha

Just realised in my 60's and having moved away from Middleton 30 years ago I think it was Tintern Road not Whalley Road - whats an Abbey between friends eh? Well Abbey Road was where I lived so I should have been a bit fucking sharper ha ha ha ha
