I so wish I’d not seen your post earlier @LWashington cos I can’t stop now :-)

How about this for an opener? From the moment Rick puts the harmonica to his lips, this is goosebumps stuff. Him and Roger together were unbeatable. Then when he switches to the piano halfway through, the song moves to another level entirely.
Such a special (and very English!) band.

You ask most people for their ‘Sounds of 79’ and they wouldn’t pick this. But I would :-))

They probably wouldn't have it in their 'Sounds of 79' because it was released in 1974 on Crime Of The Century :-)

Yes bud, understood.
I really meant the Paris album itself, as one of the albums of the year (79), but spot on re the original recording ;-)
