Oh yes what a fooking album this is, a fag paper width separates Master Of Reality, Volume 4, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and Sabotage. I saw them at the Apollo on the Never Say Die Tour of 1978. Definately in my top 5 bands of all time.
Brilliant 12' version of the band's 5th single release , after Mutant Moments , A Man Could Get Lost, Tainted Love and Bedsitter.
Fun City was the extended b side, an emotive poignant track on the same lines as Bowies London Boys and Bronski Beats Small Town Boy.
I remember watching SHWG on ToTP ..because of its beautiful start ,Mum who had been cooking in the kitchen ,came thru to the living room and was obviously impressed, cos she sat down and took a break to watch the video......however when Marc Almond got to the lyric " you were a sleep around ,a lost and found " Mum look disgusted, tutted, and swiftly headed back to the kitchen... that was her interest in Soft Cell killed dead..
