Having posted this I have watched some of those " first hearing " videos - its amazing how many of them know Elvis, know Blue Suede Shoes ( though they attribute it to Elvis not Carl Perkins ) but none of them seem to know who W C Handy is ....... music experts eh? For those who don't know I am not having a pop but in terms Blues he is widely seen as ground zero of Blues Music. He pre-dated BB King although some would say Charley Patton is the father. Oddly this info comes from me watching a Rick Stein programme and looking into it.

The Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter 1972 with the great Mick Taylor on guitar, and the best guitaist the Stones ever had imo.
