Can't argue with that. One of favourite albums of all timeTop tune, top album, top band
Makes sense to me...you can now listen to it all in your own time and space. A lot of the music I hated as a kid is now on my playlists. When I think about it. The only decade I enjoyed music-at that time, was the 90's(defo our 60's moment) Never really got the 70's at the time, same with the 80's, bar the electro/breakdance stuff. Yet I love it now, got them all. Ministry of sound have put some cracking stuff together decade wise. My go to now is usually soft rock from the 70's(or whatever you call it)chucked in with all sorts of stuff. What I meant to say before I had a spliff was that I only appreciated the music decades after, unlike the 90's, which I loved at the time.
Does that make sense? ;)

Have a listen to the Bowie one I just posted here...top 'soft rock' tune.
Yeah,. I tended to hate anything that was in the charts. When the Ska/Two Tone thing was happening, I was into rock...all my mates were into the Specials and The Beat and so on. Now i love all that...Madness, Bad Manners, Selector...Same here. got loads, especially from the 80's. Was never into this new romantic stuff. Michael Jackson and Madonna followed by the beastie boys and stuff like that was what kept people interested in music(to me anyway). Until the indie scene started(late 80's?). Wasn't into Jackson/Madonna or owt like that. Just what I remembered.
Love Bowie, sure I've posted before. Now he could change with the wind and still keep it new. Proper artist.
Ska. That brings back some memories. Got invited to some Vespa/lambretta scooter function up in Derbyshire at some Ukrainian church/field place place early 2000. Only one riding a moped. Hot day, it fuckin blew up about ten miles out. Piston nearly killed a cow. Left the bike in a farmers field and jumped on the back of a mates Vespa. To this day I didn't know you could roll a cig on the back of a bike leathering it down the motorway. Top two days. Biggest shit/cable I've ever seen in my life when I opened the only cubicle door for a slash. Even got defensive. Had to leave the tent as it had that many weed burns it looked like a net. Me sister went back to this farm and picked me moped up. Was twisted that weekend but I'm sure City lads were running that place at the time if anyone remembers?Yeah,. Back then, you chose your genre and stuck with it. To like anything outside your circle was like treachery!
