I have heard several Babyshambles and Libertines records. He's mediocre, nothing seperates him from the plethora of other bands/singers around. Well nothing musically anyway. He's an average songwriter, with a below average voice who's managing to sustain a career out of taking copious amounts of drugs, break endless laws whilst (inexplicably) avoiding jail and boning a supermodel. I could never hear another of his songs again and be quite content. I could willingly wrap him up in the newspaper artciles about him and douse him in petrol. he annoys the shit out of me with his media whoring and his Sid Vicious/Johnny Rotten style anti-establishment bullshit.

If people simply stopped writing/reading about his wanky antics he'd disappear off the face of the earth as his music is student band calibre. In fact without the attention he'd likely drug himself into an early grave.
