I don't watch live UK TV, too busy working and nowt interesting on... but this popped up on my YT feed listed a week ago. I noted how very little investigation as to why things happened, just a few brief words in the beginning.

Pops its head up every now and then, doesn't it? Real vote winner.

For protecting itself? Nah. If your good chums in Israel can hide a brick in its hand (nuclear weaponry to make that clear) and get a bully to stand behind it, I think Iran can take appropriate measures for its own safety.

We'll call it an even riposte.

When I was growing up I'd deal with lot of bullies who had mates to back them up, trying to pick on me and weaker kids in my school and on the streets. I had a few backers that had my back but didn't fight for me as I didn't want them to. It looked a lot like what's happening.

The mindset of 'dying on my feet rather than on my knees' came to mind.

It should tell you a lot if Putin's Russia are ignoring Trump and his bully boy tactics.

"Pound" a civilization "into the dirt"? Not really sure for what personal reason you have a bloodlust for that, but just remember the US/ the West have instigated regime change to get access to oil. Everything else kicked from there.

Okay, I'm going to put this to bed; Iran have disengaged from the IAEA... Israel were never in it, despite it being admitted from themselves they have nuclear arms. They don't allow international inspections.

Stop looking at it one way, Mexico.

I believe this is the first time Iran has sought help from China.

That should give you a lot of information... and you ignored the gravity of hypocrisy from Israel as it complains someone else wants what they have as protection from them.

This is why these discussions never get anywhere.

We don't have a say in anything other than watch one side tell everyone that it wants to end Israel and Israel reminding Iran that it isn't going to happen.

I say rm them to the teeth and see if they get their wish, that's not on me it's on the Iranian leadership. Amazingly China walk away from this scott free even though they exacerbate the situation by doing just what the west is blamed for which is influencing the region.

We have idiots buying Chinese electric cars because they believe Musk is worse than China, you can't mitigate that level of stupidity.

Israel didn't exist before 1948, founded by an ATHEIST zionist. Israel pushed out an indigenous people from its land. That's european Jews being inserted into a land when no other Western state would take them. One could ask why Germany wasn't partitioned as penance for its atrocity against them. The US rejected them. I believe it was up 13 countries that rejected before they were inserted and accepted in M.E. before they started to take further land.

How long has Iran been saying it wants to 'end' Israel or the US and have never made a move? Seemed saber rattling to me.

Not sure why you think it's perfectly fine for the US to arm Israel to slaughter Palestinian people since 1967, but it's not okay for Iran to protect itself from the parasite that is zionism. China just sell arms as do US. It's not a one way system.

As for buying Chinese cars, we all have some form of Chinese tech within our house or wearing it. That's some level of "stupidity" for everyone.

I'll ignore the historical background that is well trodden and not part of this particular conversation.

People in general are not deciding to buy western goods because they are headed by someone they believe to be more evil than the Chinese regime, this particular instance is about people buying Chinese goods because they genuinely believe that the Chinese regime are more moral than Musk.

Now that's a level of stupid that is reprehensible.

Don't tell me you believe Musk to be on par if not worse than the Chinese?

I gave a little historical context to the things you were saying regarding Israel and Iran.

Let's put it this way regarding "trust". It doesn't matter who's doing the 'infiltration'. US GPS system already track you, Amazon instruments 'listen in' as well as your phone doing the same or tracking your every position by using mast triangulation.

Musk and his Star Link has satellites all over the orbit of Earth and he can turn off or on its use if he doesn't like what your country is doing. He threatened to do this to Ukraine. Musk is off his head on Ketamine quite a lot. Musk has started a third party in the US (or trying to), that's the richest man on the planet not liking US politics not going his way...

And you're worried about... Chi-Nah....

Just a thought, i am not in any way worried about China, but I am not fixated on Musk either. What are you going on about tracking for?

There's a Rabbit hole here and there are way too many people with their heads down it parroting internet junk and pushing it as knowledgeable fact.

But he overriding message from the citizens of the loud in the know minority is that west is bad and it's rather clever to demonise it with scattergun tropes and in many cases conspiracy theories.
