This has to be one of the simplest and best 'moral compass' social experiments I've seen in a very long time.
Kudos to those that stood up...
You could have shit on your back and people wouldn't approach you to tell you these days, it can only be a social experiment with fully functioning human beings who organically interact with their environment.
We walk past people half dead in the street FFS.
Interesting halfway response.
I don't think it is mate, we live in a society that just doesn't care. Most of these social media "experiments" are run by idiots anyway ;-)
Explain what you thought was 'idiotic' about the experiment?
You don't think that pinning a picture of a Chimp onto someones back isn't stupid? I don't know what kind of data they gleaned from this but I can guarantee that the only metric it pleased was clickbait city.
Question; how else would you have drawn out the inner quality of your random fellow Human Being?
How is that experiment drawing out the inner quality of any human being? It's neither scientific or conclusive it shows nothing.
It's best to leave random human beings alone in my experience, we are strange creatures.
There are videos online of people pretending to beat their partners up and getting reactions from members of the public, all it is is entertainment.
Whilst it may not be data driven in any way, nobody asked the individuals to get involved, did they?
No, they volunteered for the dignity of a random person.
What it showed me was that people got themselves involved for empathy or scorn.
I thought it was telling about the person inside you.
And what you're telling me, by your response, is that you would rather walk by an incident whereas I don't have in me to do that. Even if I knew there was a racist getting a good "deserved" kicking in the street, I would get the assailants to back off.
I think one shouldn't stoop low as Human Beings.
At least it triggered your virtue signalling gene we're not all perfect mate. It's a manufactured youtube video designed to raise eyebrows.
That's all it is, nothing more.
Is it "virtue signalling" if you live the life you talk about? I dunno.
Just know, pal, if you were getting unnecessary abuse on the street, I might step in...
;)
