Been watching a lot of these “auditors” filming outside police stations and winding the cops up.
The police officers - including sergeants getting schooled on the law.
They always come heavy handed, saying you can film a police station etc etc when quite clearly the law says you can’t.
One lad got arrested for not giving his name - something you are not required to do unless suspected of committing a crime and of course the police keep wheeling out “terrorism” as an excuse to search them - again illegally.

So what about google images driving down your street filming? The auditors don’t need a reason to film on your street but if they are intruding on your privacy then that is different — but in fairness they don’t film outside peoples houses but cop shops and other public buildings.

Whilst they are winding the cops up, you cannot dismiss the actions of the police in many of these cases are unlawful. They prey on intimidating members of the public by quoting acts of law incorrectly because most citizens don’t know the law fully.
I wish I had a video camera in the 80’s so I could film (for example) the West Midlands Police at football games who were an absolute disgrace and a law unto themselves.

The other thing is, there are so many of these videos out there that you would think by now every plod in the land would have been informed that people can legally film outside the station, don’t antagonise the person, don’t give them what they want, go out and wish them a nice day and thank them for staying outside of the station and walk away!
