I think my first is a household discussion of Scotland's elimination from the 1974 World Cup, I vaguely remember the final of that tournament too.
England 5 Scotland 1, 1975 [Including a goal from King Colin]
1975 European Cup Final [Leeds - Bayern]
The Frannie Lee - Norman Hunter fight
Park Drive football books
And of course the rags being in Division two.

Sportsnight and The Big Match. Oh and a QPR v LIverpool game when Stan Bowles and Phil Parkes played for QPR. Feels like a thousand years ago mind...

1969-70 season.

Watching us lose 0-3 to WBA on The Big Match, 1/2/70, the League Cup final, winning the ECWC and the FA Cup final and replay between Chelsea and dirty Leeds.

1961 FA cup Final, Spurs beating Leicester to win the League and Cup double. Leicester down to 10 men in the first half after a player was carried off, no subs in those days. I was 6 at the time, watching it on a small black and white telly with a really low-def picture, as they all were then!

On TV the England v Argentina game. Remember my old man running to the TV screaming handball in 86. Going to my first game in 87 and daydreaming for Spurs' goal. I cheered along as if I see it. Still to this day haven't seen the goal and there were no replays to watch on a jumbotron

My two earliest memories are Keith McRae making an amazing save I think against the dippers at the old North Stand end and taking part in a sweep at home half a crown a pop for the 66 world cup final - my Dad lumped my stake on and they all lamented the fact the child got 2-2 at full time in the draw - all I know is at 5 I was the richest kid on my street ha ha ha
