nice one Centurion!
set-pieces against/ squad rotation/killer instinct in front of goal by most players.personally i got worried about how our forwards didn t hold the ball up too well at times and Given needs to work on kick-outs(so far he just gives back posession) i would like to see more from weiss, petrov and kompany for if we play the obvious it becomes easy for the opposition to read our game plan. your thoughts fellow blues?!

Both full backs are a bit shaky against decent wingers imo.
Other than that,we're shit hot all over the pitch.

Just defending set pieces and we always seem slow starters with the result we let in an early goal and are then playing catch up!

Just defending set pieces and I am sure we will get much better at that.
The brightest side though for me is that we haven't played all that well yet for a full game. Last night was probably our weakest performance but according to O'Neil it was their best and we still got a draw away from home.

Set pieces I think are most people's worries. Mine would be, as well as that, our forwards mainly, not holding the ball up well enough near the end of games.
What makes the likes of Man U, Chelsea..etc so good, and sometimes unbeatable is that you can't get the ball of them. If there's 5 mins left in a game and they're up 1-0 you could put your house on it that someone like Rooney will up in the corner by the goal just keeping hold of the ball.
While our lads, they seem like they'll try and do every flashy trick in the book. It's not smart football, and it will cost us.
As for Given's kick outs, there's only so much a keeper can do. There's only so much accuracy they can have. They hit it to an area and it's up to the players to fight for it, if the players aren't willing to fight for it then there's little point in it.

There are a few problems all right, but what team doesn't have problems.

For me its Barrys defending at set pieces how many is that now 3 in 2 games when he was marking fletcher and Dunne. They are hardly prolific but hey top 4 not complaining
