Minibus to Ruislip then train to Wembley. We better win!
Cans on Lidl/Aldi car park just off Wembley way was good against the dippers, hundreds of blues there then. Not sure if getting pissed in a park that is probably full of kids playing is the best idea.
Will have to just put up with the queues or stay around Hampstead where we are staying then get the tube in
Driving down from Glossop on Sunday AM. We're staying at The Bridge hotel in Greenford.
Either bus or taxi to the ground and hopefully find a boozer to watch the game before.
Thought I might aswell post this again as my post may have got lost amongst everybody’s planes.
Camden market has a beer festival on Sunday. £5 entry and all drinks half price as it is closing down so will be the last one. A friend who lives in Camden says that it is likely to be quite busy with 2 separate rooms with live music on. If you are staying anywhere that is easily accessible by tube to Camden Town/Chalk Farm I really recommend giving this a go, if not before the game then definitely after.
0932 crewe- Watford. JD and cards on way down. Hoping to celebrate post-match celebratory curry in the ghurka valley before travelling back on 2110 virgin from Watford. £18.50 return.
Top man! Defo will check it out.
I must be a right fussy fuckerI like it
2 of us staying here Saturday and Sunday ..... apparently it's a cheap taxi ride to Wembley .
How do you feel about pork pies?Call me old fashioned but I think you should drink beer in pubs not eat food (unless it's crisps!)
Thanks for the heads up but I'll be concentrating on getting squiffy
You in need of a lift?Any chance I can get a lift down with you?
Edit.
Forget that, I've just seen your latest post.
Stayed here before the Arsenal semi last year. Great for parking (think it’s around £20.00 on an event day). Good place for a beer before the game, and after the game only residents allowed in. Must say I’ve never tried the sauna or health club though...lol.Holiday Inn Wembley , early check in , never stayed here before believe it has saunas and a health club etc?
Anybody give it a rating ?
So you pay for the stay at the hotel then £20 extra for parking ?Stayed here before the Arsenal semi last year. Great for parking (think it’s around £20.00 on an event day). Had this booked for me and the Mrs for Sunday night, but had to cancel as we’ve got to work Monday now, so just doing the dreaded drive there and back in a day with no booze!
Yes. I know it’s a bit dear, but its convenient, and last year I got the room for £80 so parking and hotel for £100 I thought was ok.So you pay for the stay at the hotel then £20 extra for parking ?
